From classic smashburgers to bold local creations and everything in between, Harrodsburger Week is our town’s delicious tribute to America’s favorite sandwich.
The idea is simple: get out, explore Harrodsburg’s great local restaurants, try something new, and discover why our little corner of Kentucky does the burger proud. Whether you’re a hardcore burger fanatic or just someone who appreciates a great meal in a great town, Harrodsburger Week is your excuse to pull up a chair and dig in.
After all, we’ve been making history here since 1774.

Collect your Harrodsburger Passport, available at all participating locations, visit at least four of the participating locations, and be entered for a chance to win a Blackstone, a YETI, and more!
And be sure to vote for your favorite burger! The winning business will receive a $1,000 marketing campaign from the Harrodsburg/Mercer County Tourist Commission.
Instead of a traditional beef patty, they’re serving up their famous sugar-cured country ham on a seasoned brioche bun for a one-of-a-kind HarrodsBurger Week creation.
Customize it just the way you like it with your choice of 20+ cheeses, fresh veggies, mayo, salad dressing, and a variety of mustards to build your perfect HAM-burger.
This ice cream burger features vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two pieces of white cake, smothered with warm caramel, then topped with crushed salted pretzels, Biscoff cookie crumbs, and whipped cream. It’s sweet, salty, crunchy, and creamy!

It starts with Thousand Island dressing, melty cheese, and seasoned beef, topped with cooked onions, crisp lettuce, pickles, and even more Thousand Island … all piled onto their famous crust.
